Congratulations!

Dear class,
I'd like you to know that I was very proud of your performance in the speech class. It was great to see your engagement in this project as you shared your stories with your classmates. Congratulations! Now it is time to get a new book in the resource center to start preparing for the next speech class. Go for it!!! Do your best!

I was also happy to see your participation in the role-play between Evie and her poor dad. I specially liked Geivis and Cristina's solution to problem. It was a good idea to convince the father to move to New York!

Have a lovely weekend and don't forget to check your workbook. Feed your brain with motivating English exercises!

Did you know that studying a foreign language is great exercise for the brain?? It even reduces the chances one has to develop Alzeimer!! That is really true according to medical studies!!!

Don't forget to finish the letter activity on page 105!

  1. Dear teacher,

    I agree, the argument used by Geives to convince Christina was hilarious! It was a good dialog. I think this kind of exercise should happen more frequently in our classes.

    Have a nice weekend!
    See you

  3. Dear Marta,

    Yes, I did! It was a great activity too. Maybe we should have more speech classes, but instead books, we could use short texts from newspaper or magazines. What do you think? I have tried to read online newspaper such as: The Guardian from UK or The New York Times from USA daily. I really enjoy doING that. It's very interesting compare and evaluate on Britain and American English, as well. That's it. See you! Have a Nice weekend!

  4. Dear Mrs. Marta,

    We missed you yesterday! Are you fine? We hope so. We had a great class with teacher that substitute you, Unfortunately, I don't remember her name :(. It was a class about jobs for men and women. She told about sexist, sex and moral harassment, prejudice and other interesting things. We chose some professions are men and women almost exclusive, such as: manicure and wax for women and docker and practicist - I really don't know how write this, but it is related to a man who work in ships park assistance - for men. It was so funny! We hope you can back on Wednesday!
    We have in class:
    One retired;
    One cop;
    One lower;
    Four public servant (one biologist, two lowers and one psychologist);
    One manager;
    One bank assistant;
    Two doctors;
    One store owner (businesswoman)

    Guess who is who! :-)
    See you later!
